TeleTherapy

TeleTherapy refers to therapy conducted via video or phone. TeleTherapy, and TeleHealth in general, is a popular, safe and effective modality that offers convenience and access to health services.

How Does it Work

Once we agree on a time for a session  I will connect with you at the time arranged on the platform we have chosen for the contact. If we have technical video issues we will communicate by text or phone to quickly solve them.​​​

Video Sessions

I am required to use a HIPAA compliant video services to ensure privacy, such as Zoom.  

Please check Fees for payment amounts.

Payments are made ahead of time unless arranged otherwise. 

 

I accept payment by popular digital methods such as Venmo, Square Cash, Apple Cash, Zelle, and PayPal as well as by credit or debit card (you will have to send me a front and back photos of your card via text along with your the zip code where the bill is received). If you are paying by a digital method I will send you instructions ahead of the session. 

Insurance Reimbursement

Video sessions are reimbursed by your insurance at the same rate as in person sessions. I am not in insurance panels but I will be happy to provide you with invoices that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement for out-of-network services. To find out what is the reimbursement policies for out-of-network providers are for your insurance company, please call them. Typical reimbursements for out patient mental health to out-of network providers is 50% to 80% of their accepted rates by zip code.
